Hydrophobia, the Game that is a Water Level

I know when I think back to famous underwater levels, the first thing that comes to mind is one of the most difficult levels of all time, The water temple from the Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time. I was never really a fan of water levels in general, but i believe this is a game that has done it right. 

Hydrophobia is game that takes place in a future that suffers from an over population problem. The main character Kate who is an engineer on an underwater vessel known as the Queen of the World must try and stop a terrorist organization know as the Malthusians from trying to execute most of the worlds population. The game takes place on the Queen of the World vessel as it seems to be taking on a lot of water, the problem is Kate has a fear of water. The game seems to rely on a lot of strategy seeing as the first weapon you get can only stun or trigger events to happen within the world, such as shooting things down from the ceiling and shooting open valves for water to flow in. The game was first debut at PAX East earlier this year with critical acclaim and maybe we will hear more about it at PAX West this weekend.

There is no set release date yet for the game, we do know that is will be available on XBOX Live arcade, Playstation Network and PC.
